Francuska prezydencja - przemówienie Macieja Giertycha

Panie Prezydencie!
 
  Gdy duże kraje gwałcą małe reakcją jest opór. Gdy Prezydent Chirac powiedział memu krajowi, Polsce, że lepiej by zrobiła siedząc cicho tylko wzmogło to naszą chęć do wypowiadania się. Gdy Francuzi odrzucili traktat konstytucyjny nikt nie wzywał ich by zagłosowali ponownie. Nikt nie kazał im szukać sposobu wyjścia z sytuacji. Sposób znalazła wam Angela Merkel proponując: "by bez zmieniania istoty prawnej użyć innej terminologii. Czy Wam Francuzom nie wstyd, że daliście się nabrać na zmianę terminologii? Wasz były prezydent Giscard d'Estaing, przyznał, że: "propozycje zawarte w oryginalnej konstytucji praktycznie nie zostały zmienione. One tylko zostały rozproszone wśród starych traktatów w formie poprawek ... po to, by uniknąć groźby referendów." Teraz naciska Pan Irlandię, naciska polskiego prezydenta, by się temu zamierzonemu oszustwu poddali. A czy Francuzi, Pańscy wyborcy, na prawdę poddali się już? Niech Panich spyta!

Speech for the debate with president Sarkozy on the French presidency, prepared, but not delivered. It was proposed in due time but the needed one minute was not allotted. Then after the approved speeches there was an attempt to participate in the "catch the eye" procedure but president  Poettering chose to note 6 other speakers ignoring sequence. Being first to be noted by the president's secretaries proved futile.
 
Mr. President!
 
       When big countries bully small ones, the reaction is resistance. When President Chiractold my country, Poland,that "it would do better keeping silent" this only increased our will to speak up. When the French have rejected the constitutional treaty no one asked them to vote again. No one asked them to seek a way out of the situation. Angela Merkel found a solution for you, proposing to "use a different terminology without changing the legal content".  Are you French not ashamed of being fooled by a change of terminology? Your former president Giscard d'Estaing admitted that: "the proposals contained in the original constitution have practically not been changed. They were only scattered among older treaties in the form of amendments ... so as to avoid the risk of referendums?.Now you are pressuring Ireland,you are pressuring the Polish President, that they submit to this deliberate deception.And have the French, your electorate, truly submitted to it? Ask them!
